84% of people who are unsupported at work, also say their menopause symptoms have a mostly negative effect on them in these professional environments.
A survey of 1000 women by Health and Her estimated that menopause costs the UK economy 14 million working days per year in terms of time spent alleviating menopause symptoms.
Around 1 in 6 people have considered leaving work due to a lack of support in relation to their menopause symptoms, and a further 6% have left work.
Oxford Economics suggested that if a woman earning £25,000 a year leaves her job due to problematic menopause symptoms, it will cost over £30,500 to replace her!
The most cost-effective way to counteract the impact of menopause on your organisation, is to provide reasonable adjustments and targeted support, which would result in the following benefits:

Tracey is not an average menopause coach. She qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1992, and has worked with a variety of people, who have experienced physical and mental health difficulties.
At the age of 45 she was impacted by her own perimenopause journey, resulting in her leaving her career in acquired brain injuries.
Tracey's passion for supporting women who are experiencing a journey similar to her own, led her to train in multiple therapies, therapeutic and leadership coaching; for her own personal development and to fully serve her clients.
Tracey lives in sunny Whitstable, has two grown up boys, and a crazy Irish Terrier called Finley. She has a constant thirst for new learning and loves to travel with her husband, whenever she can.
"Menopause can be a catalyst for change and growth. It is a time to reevaluate one's goals, needs and desires, to create a life of balance, harmony and health, both at home and at work" - Tracey Allport

Training your staff to act in the role of a Menopause first responder, ensures employees feel nurtured, heard and cared for.
Training Menopause Advocates in your workplace would set your organisation apart as Menopause and Menstruation Aware, aiding your recruitment and retention.
